We are now looking for a planning coordinator, or planning administrator as the position is called with us, for the planning and geodata unit. The unit is part of the Community Planning Administration's operations in Environment, Planning, and Building and consists of the planning group and the geodata group. In the planning group, employees work project-oriented with detailed and comprehensive planning as well as strategic planning issues regarding water and sewage and housing supply. We have an open work climate where we learn from each other and collaborate in teams. The work group currently consists of 8 people.

Our office is located in pleasant premises in central Borlänge, close to public transport.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a planning administrator in Borlänge municipality, one of the primary tasks is to support the planning architects through the various parts of the planning process and ensure that formalities and case management occur within statutory time frames. Another important role is to act as a support function for group leaders and the unit manager, and together with them be a driving force in the work of streamlining and developing the groups' digital work, systems, and processes. Examples of other common tasks include being responsible for the entire unit's invoicing, updates on the website, and booking joint meetings and activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in areas such as administration, community planning, or other relevant education for the role. Alternatively, several years of work experience in administration within public operations. You need to have an understanding of the public sector's working methods. You should have experience and good knowledge of digital working methods and IT. Excellent proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

Meritorious:

• education as a planning coordinator.
• experience in administrative and coordinating tasks in community planning administration.
• knowledge of the Administrative Procedure Act, the Local Government Act, and the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, as well as knowledge of the Planning and Building Act.
• knowledge of project and case management systems Antura and Evolution.

To succeed in the role, you need to be meticulous and structured and enjoy administrative work. You should be comfortable handling many questions simultaneously and be able to work independently and goal-oriented to achieve both the unit's goals and your own. You are service-oriented and enjoy collaborating and helping, even in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility and a willingness to learn new things are prerequisites as we are a developing unit.
